Balco

Balco is a big name around Korba, but our specific spot is at C-400 in Sector-1. We are right in the heart of the Balco Township, near Balco Nagar. Living and working in Chhattisgarh means you get used to the industrial vibe of the place. This township is like its own little world. Most people who live in the 495684 area are connected to the plant in one way or another. Our office is just a regular building among many others. We spend our days handling the various tasks that keep a big operation like this from falling apart. It’s a lot of scheduling, talking to workers, and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of paper on the desks and the sound of industrial machinery is always somewhere in the background. But the people here are good. We take our tea breaks together and talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood. The township is pretty green, which helps when the factory gets hot. We’ve seen a lot of changes over the years, but the core of what we do stays the same. We are just a gear in a much larger machine, making sure the aluminum side of things stays on track for everyone involved. We aren't here for show, just for the actual production and logistics of it all.
