If you find yourself in the NTPC Township in Korba, you’ll eventually come across Krishna Vihar and our office at B-1309. Being out here in Chhattisgarh, things move at a slightly different pace than the big metros. We are mostly busy with consulting work, which involves a lot of reading through documents and helping people with their paperwork. The township is quite green and quiet compared to the industrial areas outside, which is nice when you need to concentrate. Our office is pretty straightforward—lots of filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. We don't go in for fancy branding or expensive furniture. People from the power plant often stop by, and we usually have some local news playing on a small radio or just the sound of the ceiling fan spinning. It gets incredibly hot here in the summer, so we mostly stay indoors and try to get as much done as possible before the afternoon heat really sets in. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and most people know us by face. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay steady with the tasks on our desks. We drink a lot of water and share whatever snacks someone brought from home. It is a very practical way to spend the workday, just dealing with one client at a time and making sure the records are kept straight for everyone.
