Sree Muruga Cement Industries

We operate out of 6/470 Choolakkal House in Eravathoor. It’s basically our home and our workplace all mixed into one. My family has lived in Eravathoor for a long time, so when we started Sree Muruga Cement Industries, it just made sense to do it right here. We don’t have a massive factory with smokestacks. Instead, we have a sturdy storage area and a place where we mix and bag everything. It’s heavy work, lugging those cement bags around, but it keeps us fit. My sons help out after they finish their other chores. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat or ask for a bit of help with a small home repair. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a secretary. If the phone rings, someone just wipes their hands and picks it up. We try to keep things very straightforward with everyone. If we say we have it, we have it. If we don’t, we tell you when it’s coming. No corporate talk or empty promises here. The dust gets everywhere, and our clothes are usually stained grey, but that’s just how it is when you work with cement. We’re just a local family trying to provide something useful to the people in our village. It’s nothing glamorous, but it’s our life and we’re proud of the work we put in every day.
