Steps Eco Foundation

Steps Eco Foundation is over in Ashok Nagar, Koraput. Our specific spot is 211, Saroanikrupa. It’s a nice part of Orissa to live in. We’ve been here for a bit, just doing our thing. The office is small, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time thinking about the environment around us because Koraput is so green. It’s hard not to care about nature when you live here. We aren't some massive organization with branches everywhere. We’re just local people who care about our town. You’ll usually find one or two of us at the office during the day. We keep the doors open so people can stop in. It’s not a formal place. We have some old chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. But it works for us. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just want to keep Koraput looking good and help the people who live here. The 764020 area is our home. We’ve seen the seasons change and the hills turn different colors. It reminds us why we started this foundation in the first place. No corporate fluff here, just plain folks working on local stuff. If you’re ever in Ashok Nagar, you can see where we sit and work. The paint on the walls is peeling a bit, and the gate squeaks, but it’s a friendly place. We aren't going anywhere else anytime soon. It is just where we belong.
