Siemens

We are located out in Damanjodi, right near the Nalco area in Koraput. Being in this part of Orissa is a bit different than being in the middle of a huge city. It’s a bit more industrial and rugged around here because of the nearby operations. Our Siemens office is pretty basic. We’re here mainly because of the location and the work that happens in this district. Koraput is a beautiful place, though it can feel a bit remote if you’re used to the coast. We’ve set up shop to be close to the action. It isn’t a fancy glass building; it’s just a functional place where we can sit down and get things sorted. The environment is practical. We deal with the heat and the dust like everyone else in Damanjodi. Our team is small but we know the area well. Most days are spent looking over plans or coordinating tasks. It’s a quiet kind of work life compared to the capital. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we make the most of what we have. People here know us as part of the local landscape. We aren't here to impress anyone with the office décor. We’re just here to do the job we’re supposed to do in this part of Orissa.
