Sayan Sandhya Foundation

We are located in Jeypore, specifically over in Lingaraj Nagar near the Irrigation Colony. People around here usually know us as Sayan Sandhya Foundation. It’s been a good while since we first set up our office in this part of Koraput. We just wanted to do something for the community without making it too complicated. It’s a fairly quiet area most of the time. We see a lot of the same local faces every morning when we open up. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical place where we can get our daily work done. We handle things as they come. Sometimes it’s really busy and we’re running around, while other days it's just us sitting in the back room planning what to do next. Living and working in Koraput has its own slow pace, and we try our best to match that. Most of the people working here grew up around these streets. We know the local shortcuts and the shops. We aren't trying to be some big, polished city operation. We’re just a group of local folks trying to be helpful where we can. If you walk down towards the irrigation colony, you'll probably spot us. We don't have a massive sign or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth. People often stop by just to chat or ask for a bit of help with various things. We do what we can with what we have. It’s not always easy, but we manage. We've watched the neighborhood change over the years, but we're still sitting here at the same address. That’s pretty much us.
