R.K.Engineers,Visakhapatnam is the name on the door, but the office is actually at Qr No C-169 in the HAL Township in Sunabeda, Koraput. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city. Years have passed since we first set up in this quarter. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the actual work keeps us way too busy to worry about that. Life here in the township is quiet and follows a steady rhythm. Engineering is just the job we do every day. There isn't a big fancy lobby or anything like that to greet people. You just walk in and find us sitting right there at our desks. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a lot of noise, but after a while, you don't even notice it. Projects come in from the local area and we handle them one by one. Our team is small, just a few of us and some helpers. Tea breaks happen at the same time every afternoon without fail. When the monsoon hits, the weather gets really rainy. A tiny leak might show up in the roof, but we just put a bucket under it and carry on with our tasks. Being the biggest company out there isn't something we ever aimed for. We just want to finish the work and get home to our families. It’s a simple way to live. Local people know where to find us if they need anything handled.
