Kuthari Consultancy And Construction is based out of Jeypore in the Koraput district. We are right there on Lal Street, sharing space at Raghunath Panda’s place. Koraput is a different kind of place compared to the bigger cities. It’s a bit quieter but the work is still steady. We do a mix of things here, some consulting on how to get things built and then the actual construction part too. It’s an OPC, so it’s a small operation, mostly just focused on the local needs around Jeypore. The office is simple and stays pretty busy with people dropping in to ask about building plans or how much stone costs these days. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area well. The hills around here make some of the construction jobs a bit tricky, but we’ve learned how to handle the terrain over time. We aren't big on those glossy brochures or fancy websites. Most of our work comes from people walking in or calling because they saw us working on a house nearby. It gets a bit cold here in the winter, which slows things down, but we push through. Dealing with the local authorities for permits is usually the slowest part of any job we take on. We just try to be honest with folks about how long things will actually take. It's a modest life, just building what needs to be built for the people here.
