Kanaka Durga Constructions Private Limited is what we call ourselves. Our location is a bit specific because of the way the land records are done here. We are at Plot No-203/927 with Khata No-144/311 in the Ekamba area. To find us, you basically head toward the Jeypore Railway Station. It is a busy spot with trains coming in and out, so there is always some noise and people moving around. Being out here in Jeypore means we see a lot of travelers and locals every day. Our office isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside. We just sit here and manage the construction work that comes our way. The weather in this part of Orissa can be quite tough in the summer, but we keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a lot of manual tracking of materials and talking to workers. We don't have a flashy website or a big marketing department. It's just a few of us making sure things get built correctly. Sometimes the paperwork for the Khata numbers takes up a lot of our time, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We like being near the station because it makes it easier to get things delivered or to meet people coming from out of town. It’s a practical place for a construction company to be. We just do our jobs and go home. Usually, we drink some tea while looking at the train schedule.
