Jagdish Engineering

Our workshop is located in Village Occ Nagar, out in Semiliguda. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main town in Koraput, but we like it out here. Jagdish Engineering has been part of this village for years. It’s more of a functional space than an office. We have a lot of metal scraps and tools lying around. It gets pretty loud when the machines are running. There’s no lobby or air conditioning here. We just keep the big doors open to let the breeze in. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is with this kind of work. The people in the village know us well. Sometimes someone drops by just to chat or borrow a tool. We do a lot of repairs and custom work for the local farms and businesses. It’s honest work that gets your hands dirty. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just know where we are and stop by when they need something fixed. The weather out here in the Koraput district can be tough, especially during the rains. We just work around it. There isn't a lot of paperwork, just a lot of welding and cutting. We start early in the morning when it's still cool and wrap up when we're tired. It’s a basic life and a basic business. We’ve been at this same spot since we started, and we don't plan on moving.
