The office for Icomm Tele Ltd in Koraput is located at the post and district center. Working in Koraput is a bit different than being in a big city office. It’s a beautiful place with a lot of hills and green trees, but it’s also quite remote. Our office is a simple building that we’ve used for years. It’s not very big, just enough for our team to sit and handle the regional paperwork. We have some computers and a printer that occasionally gets jammed, and that’s about it for technology. There aren't any fancy lights or modern decor here. We use old metal desks and chairs that are sturdy. Since we’re the district office, we deal with a lot of local coordinators and technicians who come in and out. It’s a very practical place. We don't have any marketing brochures or mission statements on display. Most of our day is spent talking to people on the phone or tracking project progress. When the weather is nice, which it often is here, we leave the door open to get some fresh air. We don't have a cafeteria, so we just bring our own food or go to the small stalls near the post office. It’s a quiet life, but we stay busy enough. We’re just a small group of people making sure the work gets done in this part of Odisha.
