Putti Papads

Putti Papads is located in Jeypore, specifically on the Malkangiri Road near the Power House. If you’re coming through the Koraput district, you might pass right by us. We’re in the area known as Fakir Samal. It’s a place where you can hear the hum of the Power House nearby. Our workspace is pretty traditional. We do a lot of the work by hand, so you’ll see people busy in the back throughout the day. The air on Malkangiri Road can get quite warm, which is actually pretty good for what we do. We’ve been here in Jeypore for a long time, and the local community knows us well. We’re not a big factory with machines doing everything; it’s more about the people here at Putti Papads putting in the time. The address at Po- Jeypore is where we started and where we plan to stay. Sometimes the rain in Koraput can slow things down, but we just adjust our schedule and keep going. Inside, the shelves are usually full of what we’ve made that week. There’s no big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the quality of the papads and making sure the folks in Fakir Samal have what they need. It’s a humble spot, but it’s ours.
