We spend most of our days out here at 169-D in the Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but the machines keep running anyway. Most of us have been working with urethane and rubber for a long time now. It’s messy work sometimes. There is always a layer of dust on the floor by noon, no matter how much we sweep. We handle a lot of different orders for various industries, and usually, the workshop is crowded with molds and raw materials. It isn’t a fancy place. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork happens. Someone usually brings in tea around mid-morning, and we take a quick break before getting back to the presses. People around here know us for just getting on with it. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that because there is always something that needs to be loaded onto a truck. The trucks come and go all day through the main gate. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out until things get moving again. It’s a standard industrial setup. We’ve got a core group of guys who know exactly how the rubber needs to be cured. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping an eye on the clock to make sure things ship out when they are supposed to. No one here wears a suit, and the coffee is usually too strong, but we get the jobs finished.
