We are located in Gangavathi, specifically in the Koppal district. Our office is on the 1st floor of the G Malla Reddy Building. If you know the area, we are directly opposite the FCI godowns on Kanakagiri Road. It’s a very recognizable landmark because of all the trucks that go in and out of the godowns all day long. Because of that, the road can be quite dusty and noisy, but we are up on the first floor so it’s a little bit removed from the street level. We have a small sign outside the building so people can find the stairs easily. Once you come up, it’s just a plain office with some desks and cupboards full of files. We handle the chit funds for the people around Koppal and Gangavathi. It’s mostly just sitting and making sure the accounts are right and that people are getting their payments on time. We’ve got a small water cooler in the corner and a few chairs for visitors to wait. The building itself has been around for a long time, and you can see the age in the tiles and the walls. We don't really have any high-tech equipment, just the basics that we need to keep the business running smoothly every day. It’s a practical space and we spend most of our daylight hours here working through the paperwork and meeting with the local members who drop by.
