Sharadhi Clinic

Sharadhi Clinic is located in Koppal, specifically near the Gavi Matha. If you are from around here, you know the Gavi Matha is a very important place and everyone knows where it is. We are just a small clinic nearby. It’s a simple building on a dusty street, like many others in this part of Koppal. We don't have a big staff, just enough to keep the doors open and see the patients who come in. Most of the people we see are farmers or local workers who stop by after their shift. The clinic is basically just a couple of rooms. One where you wait and one where we talk to you. We have a fan on the ceiling that clicks a bit, but it keeps the air moving. Life in Koppal moves at its own pace, and we do too. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; we still write a lot of things down in our ledgers. It’s honest work. The Gavi Matha brings a lot of people to this area, especially during festivals, so it can get very crowded outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the person sitting in front of us. It’s not a polished medical center with uniforms and badges. It’s just a local clinic where we know many of our patients by their first names. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay.
