Living at Q.No: Id.30 in the Vidya Nagar township is basically living where you work. We are part of the Jsw Steel Ltd team out here in Bellary, and the place is always humming with activity. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, so we rely on what we have right here. The P.O. Vidya Nagar is where we get our mail and stay connected. It is a very industrial area, so don’t expect a lot of trees or quiet. The heat is pretty intense most months, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the steel buildings. We spend our time managing the local tasks and making sure the work doesn't stop. It’s a busy life, and we are usually tired by the end of the day. We don't really have a fancy front desk, it's just the quarters where we handle the business stuff. Most of our neighbors do the same thing we do. We talk about the factory a lot because that’s what everyone knows. It's been this way for years. We handle the paperwork and the logistics from here. Karnataka is a big state, and being out here in the district of Bellary feels like being in the heart of the steel world. It's a lot of manual work and checking numbers, but it keeps us going and we're used to the pace of it all. We just take it one day at a time here. It is not always easy, but it is what we do.
