Our place is on 2nd Cross in Gandhi Nagar, right near the post office. It’s a handy location because everyone knows where the post office is. The clinic is basically just a few rooms where we keep our equipment and mats. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighborhood hasn't changed much. We see a lot of familiar faces every week. Some people come in for an old injury that flares up, and others are just trying to get some mobility back after a surgery. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which is nice for a clinic. We have a small waiting area with a few plastic chairs. The paint on the door is peeling a little at the bottom, but we don't pay it much mind. We’re more focused on the work at hand. I usually keep a notebook to track who is coming and going. Sometimes we chat about the weather or the local shops while we’re working. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here. No one is rushing around in suits or using big words. We just explain things simply and get to it. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually ready to lock up and head home, just like everyone else on the block. It’s a steady, honest kind of life running this place.
