Fabindia

Down here on Bendarwadi Streeet in Gangavathi, things move at their own pace. Our Fabindia is located right in the Koppal district, specifically at the address linked to Khamarunnisa, the daughter of S A Raheem. It is a bit of a mouthful to say, but local people around 583227 know the way. The building is tucked into the street and has a very lived-in feel to it. We don’t spend much time worrying about looking like a big fancy office. Instead, we focus on the daily stuff, like making sure the tea is ready and the door is open for anyone who needs to come in. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the local traffic, but inside it stays relatively calm. We have been part of this neighborhood for some time now. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers on the lane. It’s just how things are done in this part of Karnataka. We don't have any scripted lines or big plans. We just look after the space and handle the paperwork as it comes. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. It is a practical, honest way to run a business. We are just here on Bendarwadi Streeet, doing our job every day. We keep the counters clean and wait for people to drop by after their lunch.
