We've been here in Gangavathi for a bit now. Our office is right there in the Kalmath Complex, just a short walk from the government hospital. It gets busy around here with people heading to the hospital or doing their shopping nearby. We mostly spend our days sitting at the desks, handling paperwork and talking to folks who drop in from the local area. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular office with some chairs and the usual files piled up. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool enough during the day. People from the town know us as the place near the hospital. We usually open up in the morning, sweep the front area, and get the ledger ready for the first visitor. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time. We see the same faces every month when they come to check on things or just to say hello and have a quick chat. Koppal district can get pretty warm, so we're glad to be inside this building. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. It feels like a small part of the community. You might miss the sign if you aren't looking, but once you find the Kalmath complex, you're basically there. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. There is always someone around to help if a neighbor stops by. It's just how we do things.
