Basveshwara Kirana Shop

Basveshwara Kirana Shop is located at 24/188 on Kushtagi Road in the B T Patil Nagar area. We are a neighborhood kirana store that specializes in daily grocery items. You can find large bags of rice, different varieties of lentils, and all the spices you would need for cooking at home. The shop is a bit small and is often packed with sacks of grain and boxes of goods, so it can be a bit of a squeeze for customers to move around. We have been serving the people of B T Patil Nagar for a long time now. We handle everything ourselves, from lifting the heavy sacks to weighing out the items for each customer. We still use the traditional manual scales for many things because that’s how we have always done it. Kushtagi Road is usually quite noisy with trucks and buses passing by, but we don't mind the bustle. Our regulars are people who live in the surrounding streets and they often stop by to chat while they do their shopping. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy displays, just plain shelves and a wooden counter. We keep our records in a large paper register and do our math by hand. It’s a straightforward way of working, and it has served us well over the years. We take pride in just being a reliable place for the locals to get what they need for their kitchens.
