We started Saisha Farmers Producer Company Limited back when a few of us in Dhotre realized we were all facing the same problems with our crops and getting them to the market. We are based over here at Revnath Sitaram Shinde’s place, number 744, in the Kopargaon area. It is just a group of local farmers trying to make things a bit easier for everyone in the village. Most days you will find us out in the fields or sitting around discussing the weather and how the soil is looking this season. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. We just focus on the actual work of farming and making sure we can get our produce where it needs to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the rains don't come when they should, and other times the market prices are a real headache, so having this group helps us stay sane. We don't have a big marketing team or some shiny building. It is just us, the land, and the crops. If you happen to be passing through Tq Kopargaon, you might see us working near the Dhotre area. We try to keep things simple here because farming is already complicated enough as it is. We deal with seeds, fertilizers, and figuring out the best way to get our harvest sold. It is hard work, and there are plenty of long days, but doing it together makes it feel a bit more manageable for everyone involved.
