Swaraj Industries

We are based out of Plot No. C-1 in the Industrial Estate in Kopargaon, Ahmednagar. It’s a pretty standard industrial shed. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood is full of other shops doing similar work. The noise from the surrounding units is constant during the day. Inside, we have our machinery set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks cluttered to others. We have a lot of metal parts and tools lying around on the workbenches. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the books and the phone. We don’t have a lot of staff, so we all know each other well. Lunchtime is usually spent sitting together near the main door to get some fresh air. The weather in Ahmednagar can be tough, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here. It’s a very basic setup, focusing on the production and making sure the machines are oiled. We just do our job and go home. That's the way it's always been for us at the shop. We keep a spare set of tools near the door just in case we need to fix something quickly.
