Rajesham Poultry Farm

Our farm is located at Survey Number 130 in Konarapoet, out here in the Sircilla District. It’s a quiet area mostly, which is good for the birds we keep. Rajesham Poultry Farm is a family-run place through and through. We get up early, usually before the sun is even up, to start the chores. There is always a lot to do, like checking the feed, cleaning the sheds, and making sure the water lines are clear. It’s dusty work and your clothes never stay clean for long, but that is just how farm life is. We’ve been in this spot for years. The birds take up most of our attention throughout the day. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just the sheds and the land around them. People from the village and nearby towns come to us when they need eggs or birds. We try to keep things running smoothly, though sometimes the weather makes it hard. If it’s too hot or too rainy, we have to work twice as hard to keep everything okay. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; we just raise poultry and sell it to whoever needs it. That is the long and short of it. Every day is pretty much the same routine, and we’re okay with that life.
