Padma Transport

Padma Transport is located in the village of Vilam, which is part of the Konaraopet Mandal in Karimnagar. Our main spot is H:no:2-56/1, and that is where we keep things organized for the transport side of things. Out here in the district, transport is a big deal because everyone needs to move stuff from the farms or the local shops. We have our trucks and we make sure they are moving every day. It’s a lot of driving on roads that aren't always the best, but we are used to that by now. The office is just a simple room where we keep the logs and talk to the drivers before they head out on a long haul. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or high-tech systems; it's mostly about knowing the routes and having reliable people behind the wheel. Living in the village means everyone knows your business, so we try to be fair with our neighbors. Sometimes we are up early to get a head start on a delivery, and other nights we are waiting late for a truck to get back. It is a hard way to make a living sometimes, but it is steady. We just keep our heads down and focus on moving the cargo from one point to the next without any delays if we can help it. We enjoy being a part of the local community and seeing the trucks go out.
