Anitha Transport

Anitha Transport operates out of H. No:2-9 in Gunikula village, which is part of the Bejjanki mandal in Karimnagar. We have been around this area for some time now, handling the trucks and moving things from one place to another. The office is just a simple room where we keep the logs and talk to the drivers. It gets busy during the harvest season when everyone needs things moved at once. The roads around here can be a bit rough sometimes, especially the smaller lanes leading into the villages, but the drivers know the ways well. We spend a lot of time on the phone, checking where the vehicles are and if they reached the destination. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of sitting around and then sudden rushes of work. We mostly deal with local stuff around Karimnagar and the nearby mandals. The trucks need a lot of maintenance because of the dust and the long hours on the road. We just try to keep the wheels turning. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them right there on the side of the road. It’s just how the transport business goes. Most of us grew up here, so we know the people and the shortcuts. It's a small operation, but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Every trip is a bit different, but we stay at it.
