Icon Electricals

Our shop, Icon Electricals, is located at Plot No:48 on Kunju Mariamman Kovil Street in the Jari Kondalampatty area of Salem. It is a local place where we keep a lot of different electrical parts and supplies. We have been here for a good amount of time and most of the people living nearby know where to find us. We are right on the street near the temple, so there is often a bit of a crowd or some music playing from nearby. The shop itself is pretty simple. We have shelves filled with wires, switches, bulbs, and all the other bits and pieces that people need for their homes. It can get a bit dusty with all the inventory, but we try to keep it as organized as we can. It is just a few of us working here most days. We do not go in for any big speeches about what we do; we just sell the parts and sometimes help people figure out what they need for a repair. Being in the Salem district means we get all sorts of weather, and on rainy days, the street can get a little muddy, but we stay open regardless. We are just a small business trying to provide what the neighborhood needs without any extra fuss. We spend our time checking stock and talking to the folks who drop by. It is a quiet life but it keeps us busy enough from morning until we close up at night.
