Vasavi Silks Private Limited

Vasavi Silks Private Limited is located on Edaravari Street, specifically at D.No. 23B-5-2/1 in the Ramchandrarao Pet area. It’s a busy little street with a lot of foot traffic. Our shop is tucked in there among many others. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the light reflecting off the silk. We don't have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning that freezes you out. We just have some good fans and plenty of space for people to sit and look at the fabric. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to get the top rolls down. It keeps us on our toes. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and people shouting, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We spend our days unfolding and folding cloth. It’s a lot of work to keep everything neat, and by the end of the day, our backs usually ache a bit. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the regulars who come in for every wedding or festival. We chat about their families while we measure the silk. It’s a personal way of doing things. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do right by the people who come through our door.
