Spherule Foundation

Spherule Foundation is set up at 2-23 Main Road in Narkedimilli. This is in the Atreyapuram area of East Godavari. Being on the Main Road means we have a front-row seat to everything happening in the village. Atreyapuram is well known for its sweets, but for us, it is just home and where we do our work. The building is right on the 2-23 plot, and it is quite easy for people to find us when they are passing through Narkedimilli. The office is a functional space with tiled floors and plain white walls. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a couple of desks for our daily operations. Since we are on the Main Road, there is a constant hum of buses and motorcycles going past, which you eventually stop noticing after a few weeks. The air in East Godavari is often humid, especially during the monsoon, so we have to keep our papers stored carefully so they don’t get damp. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few local people who know the area well and show up every day. We start our day early before the road gets too busy and usually finish up as the sun starts to set. It is a simple life and a simple office, but it serves us well for what we need to do. There is no pretense here, just a group of people working out of a small building in Narkedimilli.
