Konaseema Jay Kisan Banana Farmers Producer Company is located in Ravulapadu Village. We are at D.No: 1-32, which is quite close to the Sivalayam. Ravulapalem is known for its bananas, and that is exactly what we focus on here in East Godavari. Being near the temple, we get a lot of people passing by. Our company is basically a group of banana growers who wanted to pool our produce together. Dealing with bananas is tricky because they ripen so fast and you have to move them quickly. It’s a lot of physical labor, loading and unloading the trucks. We don't have any fancy marketing people to write about us. We’re just local farmers trying to make a living. The soil in Konaseema is good, but the work is still tough. We spend our days mostly in the groves or at the collection point. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with crates and papers, but we know where everything is. It’s a real business run by real people who know the land. We don’t make big claims, we just handle the fruit the only way we know how. It’s a community thing, and we’ve all known each other for years. We just keep moving forward one bunch at a time.
