The heat in Medchal can get pretty intense, especially when the machines are running inside our unit at A-62/2 in the IDA area. We deal with corn all day long. It arrives in big bags, and we spend a lot of time just sorting through things and making sure everything is moving through the lines okay. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of other factories and trucks rumbling past outside. We started out here in Hyderabad because the location made sense for getting the raw materials in and out. It’s not the quietest place to work, but you get used to the rhythmic sounds of the processing gear after a few weeks. The floors are usually covered in a bit of dust, no matter how much we sweep. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we all know each other's families. We don’t have a big office or anything; just a small desk where we keep the paperwork and take calls. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how it goes in this part of the district. We focus on the corn, keep the machines greased, and try to get the orders packed before the sun goes down. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much fuss. There is always a lot to do before the next shipment arrives.
