Karthik Swamy Travels

Karthik Swamy Travels is run right out of the house at H. No. 2-7/9 in Kouthala. We don't have a big terminal or a fleet of hundreds of buses. It is just a local operation we started to help people get where they need to go. Usually, you’ll find us sitting on the porch or in the front room handling bookings on the phone. Kouthala is a quiet place, so everyone pretty much knows where we are. We try to keep the vehicles in good shape, even if the roads around here aren't always the best. There are plenty of potholes that make the job a bit tricky sometimes. We don’t have a website with fancy buttons or anything like that. Most people just call us or walk up to the door to ask about a trip. It is a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. Sometimes we drive the routes ourselves when a driver is sick. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, especially during wedding season or festivals when everyone wants to travel at once. We don't make big promises about luxury, but we do our best to get you there on time. It is just a family-run thing, really. We’ve lived here a long time and decided to turn our love for driving into a way to make a living. That’s all there is to it.
