O L Church

The O L Church is located at 14-88 in the Kollegal area, specifically around Hanur in Chamarajanagar. It is a quiet place, away from the big city noise, and that is how most of the people here like it. The building itself has been around for quite some time, and you can see the age in the walls and the old wooden doors. We do not have a massive congregation, but the people who come are locals who have lived in this part of Chamarajanagar their whole lives. On Sundays, the place fills up with families, and you can hear the singing from a couple of streets away. During the week, it is much quieter, with just a few people stopping by to sit for a minute or talk about things happening in the village. We handle a lot of the small stuff ourselves, like keeping the yard tidy or making sure the roof does not leak when the heavy rains come through Hanur. There is a lot of history in this spot, and you feel it when you are inside. It is not just about the services; it is a place where people meet up to check on each other. The surroundings are mostly green, and the air is a bit fresher than what you get in the bigger towns nearby. We do not have a lot of resources, but we make do with what the community brings in. It is a simple life for us here at the church.
