Eshwari Bricks

Eshwari Bricks is located right on the road that goes from Mahadeshwara Betta to Ramapura. If you are driving that way, you can’t miss the stacks of bricks lined up by the side. We are at number 141. It’s a busy road sometimes with people heading towards the hills, but our yard is where the real work happens. We have a small group of people who have been with us through many seasons. The soil around here is decent for what we do. We spend a lot of time just watching the fire in the kiln to make sure it stays steady. It’s not an easy job, especially when the wind picks up and blows the ash around. We just get on with it, though. There is always something to do, like checking the molds or moving the finished stacks to make room for new ones. We don’t have a big corporate story to tell you. It is just a family-run kind of place where we know everyone’s name. Sometimes the tractors break down and we have to fix them ourselves right there in the dirt. We take our tea breaks under the shade of a few trees nearby. Ramapura is home for us, and this brick yard is just how we make our living. It’s honest work, dusty and hot, but it’s what we know how to do best for our local customers.
