Laxmi Earth Movers

Our business is located in Enmanbetla village at house number 6-128. This is in the Kollapur mandal of Mahabubnagar district in Telangana. We work with heavy machines like earth movers, so our yard is always filled with big equipment and a lot of dust. It is not a clean or quiet place to work. There is usually the smell of diesel and grease in the air. We don't have a separate office building; we just manage everything from here at the house. Most of our day is spent making sure the machines are in good shape and talking to drivers about where they need to go. The sun gets very hot out here in the fields, so we do most of the heavy maintenance early in the morning. We started this as a small family thing with just one machine, and over the years we have managed to add a few more to the fleet. We don't do any marketing or have a website. People in the surrounding villages just know our name and call us when they have some land to clear or a pit to dig. It’s a simple, hardworking life. We usually have our meetings sitting on plastic chairs outside the shed. We don't care about looking like a big company. We just want to make sure the equipment stays running and the work gets finished on time.
