Kolla Shivamma is my name and also the name I use for my work here in Enmanabetla Village. Being in the Kollapur Mandal means we are a bit far from the big city noise, which is just fine with me. My house is H No 4-141, and that is where you will find me most days. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy office setup. It’s mostly just me taking care of things as they come. The village is small enough that you can’t really hide from anyone, and everyone knows where I live. I spend my time doing what needs to be done for the household and the small business tasks that keep me busy. Sometimes the goats or the neighbors’ kids make more noise than I’d like, but that’s just life in Enmanabetla. I’ve got a rhythm to my days that starts with the morning chores and ends when it gets dark. People come by when they need something, and we talk while we work. It’s not a formal place where you need an appointment. You just walk up to the door and see if I’m around. The air is better out here than in the towns, and the work feels more real. I keep a record of things in a small notebook I carry around so I don't forget the details. It’s a simple way of living and working, but it’s been working for me for a long time now. We don't need much to keep things going as long as we are healthy and busy.
