Venad Hero

We are over here in Vendermukku, just a small spot where we handle everything related to these bikes. Most days start early because people want to drop their things off before work. It gets a bit dusty around here, but that is just how it is when you are dealing with two-wheelers all day long. My hands are usually covered in oil by ten in the morning. We have been at this location for a while now, and most of the folks who stop by are regulars from the neighborhood. It is not a fancy setup. We have the tools we need and a bit of space to move around. Sometimes the parts take a day to arrive, and we just have to wait. That is the reality of the job. You see the same faces every week, mostly people just looking to get their commute sorted out without any trouble. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. The floor is concrete and the walls have a few posters that have been there for years. When the sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, it gets quite warm inside, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, just fixing what needs fixing and making sure the engines sound right before they leave the gate. We take it one day at a time, keeping track of everything in a ledger that sits on the main desk.
