Veekay Associates

We are Veekay Associates, situated over in Kottiyam. Our place is near Maynad Road, not too far from the Sithara Junction. It’s a decent location for what we do. We handle a lot of different items, mainly books and related materials for the local community. The office isn't very big, but we make it work. Most days are spent checking orders and making sure things get where they need to go. It can get a bit hectic around the start of the school terms. We see a lot of the same faces coming through the door, which is nice. It makes the work feel more like a part of the town. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People usually just call us or walk in. The junction is always busy, so there is plenty of noise, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of paper moving. We’ve had to reorganize the shelves a few times this year because we keep getting more stock than we planned for. It’s just how it goes in this business. My cousin helps out when things get really busy. We try to stay on top of everything, though sometimes we fall behind on the filing. It’s a straightforward operation. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep the lights on. If you're near Sithara Junction, you'll see our sign.
