Our office is in a house called Karthiyani Nivas, which is located near the ITI in Attingal. It’s a familiar spot for people in this part of the Trivandrum district in Kerala. The building is a traditional style, and we have set up our workspace inside to handle the business for Trends And. Being near the ITI means there are always students and local people walking by, so the area feels very alive. Kerala is known for its rain, and when it pours here, the sound on the roof is so loud you can barely hear yourself think. We just keep working through it. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks, surrounded by some files and the occasional stack of merchandise. It is not a fancy corporate headquarters by any means. It’s a practical, local operation. We handle the day-to-day tasks like answering emails and coordinating with suppliers. Sometimes we sit out on the porch for a few minutes to get some fresh air. The pace here is a bit different than the big cities, which we quite like. We know the people at the nearby shops and they know us. It is an honest way to make a living, and we don't feel the need to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just show up, do what needs doing for the day, and then head home when the sun starts to go down.
