Super Traders

You can find Super Traders on the ground floor of the Thankom complex. We are right in the middle of Chinnakada, which gets quite crowded during the day. It’s a good spot because people can just pop in while they are doing their other shopping. We’ve been in this complex for a bit now. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it by stacking things wherever they fit. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We handle a lot of different stock, so there is always something to unpack or move around. Working in Chinnakada means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our staff is just a few local people who know the items well. We don't do much advertising; people mostly just see us when they walk past the ground floor. The Thankom complex is a well-known landmark, so it’s easy to tell people where to go. We keep the doors open and let the breeze in when it’s not too dusty outside. It's a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. The floor is concrete and the shelves are metal. It works for what we need. We see all sorts of people coming through Chinnakada. Some are in a hurry, others like to chat for a minute. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized as best as we can. We like being part of the daily hustle and seeing the city move around us.
