St. Joseph'S Hospital Anchal

St. Joseph'S Hospital Anchal is one of those places that feels like it’s always been here. If you walk down the main road in Anchal, you’ll find us easily enough. The building has a lot of character, maybe some peeling paint in the corners, but it’s sturdy. We have a small garden area that some of the staff tries to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win in the end. Most days are pretty loud with the sound of traffic from the street and people chatting in the waiting area. We use a lot of old-fashioned paper files because that’s what we’re used to, and it seems to work well enough for us. The nurses are usually rushing around, and you can hear their shoes clicking on the tiles all day long. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are almost always going, making that steady humming sound. We know most of the families around here by their first names. It’s a local spot where people bring their worries, and we just try to provide a bit of space for them. There’s nothing particularly high-tech about our front office; it’s just a wooden counter with a lot of pens and notebooks. We focus on getting through the daily list of tasks. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, or a lightbulb flickers, but we just fix it and keep moving. That is life at Anchal for us.
