Sree Narayana Dharma Pracharana Yogam Council

Sree Narayana Dharma Pracharana Yogam Council is located at Arunima in Mayyanad. Kollam is where most of us have lived our whole lives, so setting up here made the most sense. The name is quite long, we know that, but it covers what we are trying to do in the community. We follow the teachings that have been around for a long time. Our space isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular building where we can sit down and talk. We get together to discuss how to live better and help each other out without making a big fuss. Mayyanad is a quiet enough place, and we like it that way. Most of the people who come by are just neighbors or folks from around the district. We don't have a lot of money or big equipment. It is mostly about the conversations we have in the afternoons. Sometimes we organize a small gathering or a talk, but usually, it is just us keeping the daily routine going. We have been at this address for a while now and the locals know where to find us. It’s a practical way to keep the traditions alive without needing to be on the news. We just focus on the work at hand and try to be useful to anyone who walks through the door. It is a slow process but we are patient people.
