Solar Links

We are located in Vavvakkavvu, right near the Priyanka Eye Hospital. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. We work with solar panels and batteries mostly. Our shop is full of heavy boxes and long cables that we trip over sometimes. It isn't a polished office with a reception desk. It’s more like a garage where we keep all our gear. We spend a lot of time out on rooftops installing things, so the shop is often empty except for one person answering the phone. The sun is hot here so we get a bit of a tan working outside all day. We use simple tools and try to get the wiring as neat as possible. Sometimes we have to explain how the meters work to people who haven't used solar before. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a few guys who know how to set up these systems. The truck we use for deliveries is getting old and makes a strange noise when we go up hills. We don't have a marketing plan or anything fancy. People just hear about us from their neighbors or see us working on a nearby house. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. When the rain starts we have to stop working on the roofs and we just sit in the shop cleaning our tools or catching up on logs. That’s about all there is to it for us.
