Shameer Ice Friuts

We are down in Koottikada, right by the Mayyanad post office area. Most days start early here because the fruit needs to be sorted and the ice has to be ready before the sun gets too hot. It is just a small place but we keep busy. You can find us easily if you know the road. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to move fast to keep things cold. It is a lot of work handling the crates and making sure everything looks okay on the shelves. We have been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us well. Usually, it is quiet in the mornings and then picks up in the afternoon when people are heading home. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name Shameer Ice Friuts on the front. The floor gets a bit wet from the ice melting and we are always mopping it up. It is just how it goes when you deal with cold stuff all day. People stop by for a bit of fruit or just to see what is fresh. We try to keep the bins full and the ice machine running without any trouble. It gets humid here so the shade inside the shop feels good. We just keep doing what we do every day, opening up the shutters and setting things out. There is always a lot of cleaning to do before we close up for the night.
