Royal Dairy Ice Cream

Royal Dairy Ice Cream is located at No-18 in the Mylapore area of Mukhathala. We’ve been running this little place for a while now. It started out small and it’s still pretty much the same. We focus on the dairy side of things because that's what we know. The shop is simple and we don't have any air conditioning for the customers, just the big freezers for the products. It gets quite warm inside during the afternoons, so we usually sit outside on the porch when there aren't many people around. We get our supplies delivered regularly and we spend a lot of time checking the labels and making sure everything is stacked right. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part. Most of our customers are just people living nearby who want something for their kids. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If you want to know what we have, you just have to come in and look through the glass lids. We have the basic flavors that everyone grew up with. Sometimes we run out of the popular ones and people have to pick something else. It’s just a small local business trying to keep things going day by day. We like the people here and they seem to like having a place nearby to get a treat when they want one.
