Riddhi Ayurveda Clinic

Our clinic, Riddhi Ayurveda Clinic, is based in Kollam. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell. It’s a mix of different herbs and oils that we use for the treatments. It’s a very different scent than a regular hospital. The rooms are simple with wooden tables and some jars of powders on the shelves. We have a small area in the front with a few wooden benches for waiting. It’s usually pretty quiet here. We don’t have loud machines or bright fluorescent lights. It feels a bit more grounded. The staff spends time preparing the oils and checking the stock of herbs we get from local suppliers. Kollam is a beautiful place, and we feel lucky to be working here. The clinic is in a plain building, nothing too modern. We have some charts on the wall showing different parts of the body, but that’s about it for decoration. Most people come to us because they want a different approach to their health. We talk to them for a while before starting anything. It’s a slow process, not a rushed one. We have a small sink in the corner for washing up. The floors are stone and stay cool even when it’s hot outside. It’s a humble place where we just focus on the traditional ways of doing things. We often have to refill our jars at the end of the day. It’s just a part of the daily rhythm here. We keep the door open to let the breeze in.
