Our place is over in Kadappakada. It’s one of those areas that just feels familiar once you’ve lived here for a bit. We don’t have a massive sign or anything like that, just our name on the door. The building is simple, and the rooms inside are filled with the things we use every day for our work. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. There is usually a bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, though it brings in some dust from the road. We spend a lot of time just going through our tasks and making sure everything is lined up. It’s a quiet enough operation most days. We know a few of the people who work in the shops nearby, and we say hello when we’re out getting water or a snack. Sometimes it’s a bit slow and we just sit and talk, but usually, there’s enough to keep us busy until it’s time to go home. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that get the job done. It’s a bit of an older setup, but it works for us. We’ve been at this for a while and we do not see any reason to change how we do things. It is just a local business doing what it does in its own corner of the world without much fuss or bother.
