Our operation is set up at Uchanpalli House, which is building PP V 59 in the Pattiam area. We’re near the Pathayakunnu Post office. Pattiam Advanced Infrastructure Development Private Limited might sound like a long name, but we are just a local group of people working on infrastructure projects. The office is inside a regular house, which makes it feel a lot more comfortable than those glass buildings in the city. We spend our days coordinating workers and checking on the progress of various development jobs around Pattiam. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when you're out in the sun all day, but it’s what we know how to do. There is usually someone at the house handling the phone calls and keeping track of the budget. We don’t have any polished mission statements on the walls. Mostly, we just have calendars with deadlines marked in red ink. We've been part of this community for years, and we like that people can just drop by if they have a question. The roads around here can be a bit narrow, but we manage to get our equipment where it needs to go. We are just regular folks who put in a full day's work and then head home. Dealing with infrastructure means things can get complicated, but we take it one step at a time. It's about getting the job finished so the local community can actually use what we’ve built. We do our best.
