Not Appilicable

Our place is called Ushus, located in Vallikavu, Clappana. It’s a quiet spot in the Kollam district of Kerala. We go by Not Appilicable. The air is different here, much fresher than in the city. We have a lot of greenery around us, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. The building is just a regular house. We’ve set up our workspace in the front rooms. You can hear the birds and sometimes the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud we can’t hear each other talk. It’s a very local operation. We know the people at the post office and the small shops nearby. Being in 690525 means we are a bit far from the main hubs, but we like the peace. We don’t have a big corporate culture. We just wear our regular clothes and work at our own pace. Some days are busier than others. When it’s harvest time or a local festival, everything slows down a bit. We don’t mind. It’s part of living here. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just wake up, come to the office, and see what needs to be done. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay. There is no reason to be anywhere else when you have the trees and the quiet of Clappana.
