Mithra Traders

Mithra Traders is situated in Kottamkara, which is part of the Ayathil area. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like the quiet. We’ve got a warehouse space here that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Inside, you’ll mostly find us moving things around or sitting at the small wooden desk near the entrance. We handle various goods and the stock changes every week. Sometimes we have a lot of one thing and then the next day it’s all gone and something else arrives. It keeps us on our toes. The floors are concrete and they’ve seen a lot of wear over the years from all the heavy lifting. We don’t have a fancy website or any of that. Most people just know us from being around Ayathil for a long time. The gates squeak a little when you open them, but we haven't gotten around to oiling them yet. It’s just part of the charm, I guess. We spend the mornings organizing the upcoming deliveries and the afternoons are for tidying up. There is usually a stray cat that hangs around the back hoping for some shade. We just go about our business, making sure the orders are packed and the paperwork is signed. It’s a practical life, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than what it is.
