At Mavelil Ayurveda Hospital & Panchakarma Clinic, we are tucked away in the Kudajadri area of Adoor. Adoor is the kind of place where everyone seems to know each other. Our building is simple. We have the rooms for Panchakarma and the general hospital area. It is quiet around here compared to the big cities. You can hear the birds sometimes in the morning before the day really starts. We spend a lot of time preparing the oils and getting the treatment rooms ready. The floors are easy to clean, which is good because things can get a bit messy with the herbal preparations. There is a lot of wood and natural light in some of the rooms. We have a small staff and we all know our roles pretty well. Most of the day is spent checking on people and making sure the treatments are going okay. It isn't a high-tech place with flashing lights. It is more about the practical side of Ayurveda. We have shelves full of jars and bottles that we use daily. The waiting area has some old magazines and enough benches for people to sit. People come in from all over Adoor and the surrounding spots. It is a steady rhythm here from morning until we close up in the evening. We just focus on the work at hand and keeping the place running smoothly for whoever walks through the door. It's just how we do things here.
